The Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the United States has extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh on his nomination as the running mate for the party’s presidential candidate and Leader, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to the group, this nomination is seen as a recognition of Dr. Prempeh’s dedication, outstanding leadership, and commitment to the betterment of Ghana.
“In Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, we see a leader whose dedication to the ideals of our party and the progress of our nation is unwavering,” said the NPP-USA Youth Wing in their statement released on Thursday (4 July). “His acceptance of this nomination reflects his deep sense of duty and readiness to serve with integrity and excellence.”
The youth wing highlighted Dr. Prempeh’s transformative impact as the former Minister of Education, praising his efforts to improve educational outcomes and opportunities for Ghanaian youth.
They also expressed confidence in the partnership between Dr Prempeh and Dr Bawumia, describing them as a formidable team committed to addressing the nation’s challenges.
“Together, they represent a vision for a prosperous Ghana, where every citizen has the opportunity to thrive,” they emphasized. “We believe in Dr. Prempeh’s commitment to unity, integrity, and progress. His leadership will guide us towards a stronger, more inclusive Ghana”.
