Vision FC midfielder Abdul Aziz Nurudeen is pleased with his maiden national Under-23 call-up.

Nurudeen who has arguably been the best midfielder in the National Division One Zone Three League for several years was finally rewarded for his hard work as he was named in the Black Meteors 24-man local based squad to start preparations ahead of the Under 23 AFCON qualifier against Algeria.

The left-footed central midfielder emphasised that it is a dream come true for him.

“I feel very excited for the call-up. I cannot even express it. It has been my dream all this while to wear the national jersey. I am happy my effort on the field has been noticed,” Nurudeen told Dailymailgh.com

“I have only one dream and that is to go, perform and make the final list for the march against Algeria.

“It is a great platform for me to further show my talent to the world as I continue to work hard,” he added.

The Meteors started training today (Wednesday) at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.
