Ghanaian striker Raphael Dwamena has signed for Spanish second-tier side Real Zaragoza on loan.

The burly forward moves from La Liga outfit Levante on a one-year loan deal as he seeks to regain his lost form.

Signed by Levante from Swiss side FC Zurich for 6.5 million Euros which is the club’s best transfer record of all-time, Dwamena failed to shine as he played only 12 La Liga games and failed to score.

He was being courted by Hannover 96, Real Oviedo, FC Zurich and Real Zaragoza but he agreed to move to the latter despite the club stating they cannot afford all his 800,000 Euros a year wages.

Dwamena is the second Ghanaian player in the fold of Real Zaragoza with the other one being youngster John Otu who is with the Under 19 team.
