Fortuna Dusseldorf have completed the signing of Ghanaian defender Kasim Nuhu Adams on loan.
The towering centre back joins the Flingeraner on a season deal with his contract at TSG Hoffenheim scheduled to end on June 30, 2020.
“It is an honour and a privilege to be here to help the team reach its target this season”, Nuhu said.
“I know great players from Ghana like Anthony Baffour played for such a big club with huge fan base and I am elated to be here to also write my name in the club’s history,” he said.
Nuhu added: “A lot of Ghanaian players have joined Düsseldorf in this summer and I look forward to working with them and I know it will make me comfortable here”.
Adams last season featured 13 times for Hoffenheim providing one assist as they finished 9th on the league log.
Dusseldorf signed Adams as a replacement for Marcin Kaminski who has returned to VFB Stuttgart.
He becomes the fourth Ghanaian Dusseldorf have signed this summer with the rest being Nana Opoku Ampomah, Bernard Tekpetey and teenager Kelvin Ofori.
