Black Stars defender Nicholas Opoku has signed up for French Ligue 1 side Amiens.

The Ghanaian defender has signed a six-month deal with the French Ligue 1 team with an option to make the deal permanent.

Opoku joined Amiens from Italian Serie A top-flight Udinese.

The 22-year-old Ghanaian played seven games in the 2019 /20 Serie A season for the Black and Whites before falling out of favour in the team.

The Black Stars defender would be hoping for a great time in the Ligue 1 to help his team stay in the top-flight and also to make his loan deal permanent.
