Asante Kotoko on Saturday announced Kjetil Zachariassen as the new head coach.
The Porcupine Warriors terminated the contract of former coach CK Akunnor after a reported misunderstanding between the ex-Ghana international and management.

Zachariassen has left the Miners after a short stint with the Obuasi lads where he led them to win the tier two Cup of the Ghana Football Association’s NC Special Competition which served as a ticket for the Miners to represent Ghana in next year’s CAF Confederations Cup.
“I am very happy and I see it as a privilege to be offered the opportunity as the head coach for such a historic club and I look forward to achieving greatness with these beautiful club,” Zachariassen said.
