Asante Kotoko forward Abdul Fatawu Safiu has signed a permanent deal with Swedish club Trelleborgs.
After Safiu’s four months initial loan deal, his extremely impressive form did not go unnoticed and the Swedish second tier club has made his stay in Sweden permanent.
The hard working and prolific attacker has penned a two-year contract with his current employers in the Scandinavian nation.
Kotoko will receive additional $110,000 after Trelleborgs paid initial $35,000 to them for the four months loan.
The striker has been in a fine form since joining the club and has scored a couple of important goals for his side in the Swedish second tier this season.
