English Premier League side Southampton FC have announced the signing of Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu from Real Valladolid.
The 21-year-old stalwart defender has penned a four-year deal with the Saints after a breakthrough season in the Spanish La Liga.
The Ghanaian was rated 6.79 average ratings in the 2019-20 season surpassing all Ghanaian defenders in Europe.
Salisu, who is yet to be capped for Ghana could also represent the Spanish national team due to his dual citizenship.
Southampton completed the move for the Ghanaian weeks ago but his announcement was delayed due to paper works.
After securing his work permit which would allow him to represent the St Mary’s side, the 21-year-old dream move was officially announced by the Saints on Tuesday.
