Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor, Chairman of the NDC 2024 Manifesto Planning Committee, has underscored the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) intellectual and policy strengths.
In an interview on Eyewitness News on Thursday, August 22, 2024, Dr. Otokunor asserted that the NDC stands out for its intellectual rigor and governance expertise.
“Everybody in Ghana knows that when it comes to substance, the NDC is unmatched. The NDC is arguably the only party in Ghana that excels in intellectual capacity,” he said.
He praised the party’s members for their extensive experience and understanding of governance and policy. “We have individuals who have lived and demonstrated their expertise in managing government affairs.”
Dr. Otokunor compared the election to a choice between “alcohol and water,” highlighting the clear differences in their impact. He emphasized that voters have firsthand experience with President Mahama’s governance over the past four years and can evaluate his administration’s outcomes.
“This election is significant. The people of Ghana have seen President Mahama’s track record and how he managed the country. They know the results of his leadership,” he concluded.
