The driver of a Deputy National Secretary of the opposition NDC, Peter Boamah Otokunor is in the custody of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).
Eric Adogla was picked up on Monday, December 21 without any indication of his alleged wrongdoing, Mr Otokunor told the CNR.
One of his lawyers, Victor Adawudu said it has been frustrating as efforts to see their client has been fruitless.
Mr. Adawudu further accused the bureau of planning to torture his client who was picked up this dawn at his residence.
“…We [his lawyers] have been denied access to him, and they are not even telling us where he is and when I can access him. This is very unacceptable, and we cannot be intimated like that. I know he is with the BNI, but they want to torture him and all before giving us access to him,” Mr. Adawudu told the CNR.
