Madam Rita Talata Asobayere, the 2nd National Vice Chairperson of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed confidence that Ghanaians will re-elect the party in this year’s general elections due to its strong record of achievements.
Speaking at the 10th-anniversary celebration of the NPP Luton Chapter in the United Kingdom, Madam Asobayere emphasized that the party’s accomplishments will pave the way for a successful bid to “break the 8” and secure another term in office.
“We will win this year’s election based on our achievements to break the 8. This will afford Dr. Bawumia to continue the good works of President Akufo-Addo and the NPP,” Madam Asobayere declared.
Her remarks highlighted the NPP’s track record and its commitment to continuing the progress made under President Akufo-Addo’s administration.
Madam Asobayere urged the Ghanaian diaspora to actively promote the NPP’s successes, particularly in light of the global economic challenges affecting Ghana’s growth. She stressed the importance of showcasing the party’s positive contributions and its capability to navigate the country through difficult times.
Addressing the audience, she reiterated her belief that the NPP is the only party proven to effectively manage Ghana’s affairs and prevent any potential setbacks.
“The NPP is the only political party that has been tried and tested to save Ghana from any mess. Therefore, Ghanaians cannot afford to lose the NPP in the general elections,” she asserted.
Madam Asobayere also called on the diaspora community to maintain their support and continue their efforts to ensure the party’s victory.
She encouraged them to remain steadfast in their advocacy and engagement to help secure a win for the NPP in the upcoming elections.
