Ghanaian youth midfielder Leonard Owusu was on target in the Israeli Toto Cup on Monday for Ashdod FC who went away to wallop Hapoel Raanana 4-0.
The former Dreams FC midfielder was the star at the Ramat Gan Stadium as he put up a commanding performance in the heart of midfield throughout the game.
Owusu netted Ashdod’s third goal in the 65th minute after hitting a superb strike to the roof of the net just outside the 18-yard box.
Before that, Gozlan and David had given Ashdod a 2-0 lead with two first half goals of which Owusu contributed to the build up.
Azulai put the icing on the cake with the fourth goal for Ashdod in the 71st minute.
