Phoenix Rising Stars to offer Ghanaian winger Asante new contract

Phoenix Rising Stars will hand Ghanaian winger Solomon Asante a new contract following his stellar output for the club this season.

Asante has been key for the USL outfit in the 2019 American second tier netting 22 goals and providing 15 assists as they won the league title.

His current contract expires in November 30, 2019 but Dailymailgh.com understands that talks with him have reached an advanced stage for a fresh two-year contract.

Asante, who is the skipper of the club, has also attracted interest from several MLS clubs including Houston Dynamo and Newyork Redbull.
