Asante Kotoko striker Richard Arthur has send a warning to Nigerian top-flight side Kano Pillars.
Speaking to the press, the former Wa All Stars attacker sent a message to their opponents to be wary of the Porcupine Warriors in Kumasi.
“We will beat Kano Pillars in Kumasi when they return for the second leg,” Arthur said.
“We want our supporters to paint Kumasi and the Baba Yara Sports Stadium red on 25th of August because we will beat our opponents and advance to the next stage,” Arthur added.
The record league champions secured vital away goals when they lost 3-2 in Nigeria at the Sani Abacha Sports Stadium in Kano.
Kotoko can seal qualification to the next round with a resounding win or a 1-0 scoreline in the second leg.
Kotoko intensified training and preparation at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Tuesday ahead of the big game.
