Police quiz Jacobu SHTS matron, Econs tutor over foodstuff theft

The police CID is investigating a case of food theft at the Jacobu Senior High Technical School, dailymailgh.com has learned.

The school’s matron, Faustina Nyarko Adade, 42, and Philip Yenbilla, an Economics tutor have been named as persons of interest by the police.

Philip, who was in charge of the matron’s vehicle was intercepted by policemen at Afoako junction, near Jacobu on Sunday (August 21). A search conducted by the police led to the retrieval of the items including perishables. Faustina was later arrested by the police for questioning.

The suspects may be put before the Jacobu District Court on Tuesday (September 6) on charges of stealing and abetment of crime, according to sources familiar with this development.
