Rayon striker Michael Sarpong insists they have to go all out in Sudan in order to knock Al Hilal out of this year’s CAF Champions League.
The in-form Ghanaian striker netted Rayon’s goal as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Al Hilal in Kigali on Sunday and admits they have to go the extra mile to achieve the needed results in the return leg.
“It wasn’t an easy game playing such an experience team like Al Hilal. We did what we could but a draw was what we had for the day,” Sarpong told Dailymailgh.com
“We need to focus and keep our heads up and finish the battle at their backyard next weekend.”
Sarpong was recently voted as the Rayon Sports 2018/2019 player of the season.
The Ghanaian netted 16 league goals last season as Rayon won the league trophy.
