Ivorian footballer, Oussou Konan has reportedly died shortly after he paid his extended family a visit to celebrate the New Year with them.
The sad report adds that the player who until recently played for Al-Bukiryah Football Club in Saudi Arabia died in his hometown on a new year’s visit.
The young man was allegedly poisoned although further news on how it happened and whether there has been any arrest so far have not been divulged to the public.
Initially, it was reported that he died from a short illness but reports later emerged that he was poisoned.
