Report: Black Stars boycott training over unpaid monies

Ghana’s Black Stars B players refused to train ahead of their crunch encounteragainst Burkina Faso in the CHAN qualifiers.

Reports reaching Dailymailgh.com indicate the players did not train on Wednesday as the team complained about their unpaid bonuses after the WAFU Cup. Ghana finished as runners-up losing 1-3 on penalties to host nation Senegal last Sunday.

Ghana was beaten at home by a lone goal when they hosted their neighbors Burkina Faso at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

The team is in camp preparing for the crucial second leg in a match they would have no choice but to defeat the Burkinabes at their backyard to ensure their passage to the next stage.
