Leicester City boss Brendan Rogers has indicated several players including Ghanaian international Daniel Amartey could leave the Kings Power Stadium with just a week to the end of the summer transfer window across Europe.

Rogers mentioned that he has an in depth squad and it is prudent some players are made to leave either on loan or sold outright.

“Hamza Choudhury has done very well. Wilfried Ndidi has done very well. I don’t need three defensive midfielders,” Rogers told Leicestee Mercury in relations to Amartey.

“The issue with Daniel Amartey is that he was out with injury and there are guys who have jumped in front of him.”

So far, Club Brugge and Trabzonspor have expressed interest in signing Amartey.
