Moroccan giants RS Berkane have landed in Ghana ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup game with Ashgold this weekend.
The Moroccan powerhouse touched down at the Kotoka International Airport on the wee hours of Tuesday, September 10, 2019 and will head straight to the mining town of Obuasi to prepare for the game on Saturday.
RS Berkane will be handled by their deputy coach for the encounter after sacking Mounir Jaouni. Talks are, however, in advanced stage for experienced French trainer Luiz Fernandez to take over the team for the return encounter.
The winner of the two leg tie will make it to the Group stage of the 2019 CAF Confederations Cup.
