American winger of Ghanaian parentage Emmanuel Sabbi has stated he could stay at Danish Superliga side Hobro IK despite serious interest from other clubs.
The in-form flanksman has been a subject of interest from Brondby, Israeli outfit Maccaibi Tel Aviv as well as Portuguese giants Braga but insists he might stay at Hobro.
“I don’t mind staying in Hobro. I am very motivated to keep working hard with Peter Sorensen,” Sabbi told Bold.dk
“I hope I can end up the same situation as Robert Skov did under Peter Sorensen.”
Sabbi has already netted two goals in the Danish topflight this season.
The 21-year-old who was born to Ghanaian parents in Italy but grew up in US and currently plays for their Under-23 team is eligible to represent Ghana or the European nation at senior level.
