Ghanaian young forward, Ibrahim Sadiq has picked up a thigh injury which will keep him out of the field for at least three weeks in Sweden.

The Ghanaian forward who scored twice for BK Hacken in the Sweden Cup final to win the trophy for his team picked up an injury later on in the game.

He was subbed off at the start of the second 45 minutes of the match following an unfortunate injury he picked up just before the break against Mjällby AIF in the Sweden Cup final on Thursday, May 18.

He broke the deadlock of the match to put the Yellow and Blacks outfit in the lead one minute into the additional time period of the first 45 minutes of the match with a fine finish.

He was on target again three minutes later with a superlative strike to make it 2-0 before he was injured and subbed off in the second half of the match.

Before the injury, Sadiq had scored three goals in all competitions this season for the Yellow and Blacks outfit and remained one of the most important players for the club after helping them win the 2022 league title.

He’s set to miss four to six games before he returns in late June or early July to feature in the 2023 Sweden Allsvenskan for the Champions.
