Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are out of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors succumbed to a 2-0 scoreline in Abidjan in the hands FC San Pedro in Sunday.
FC San Pedro started brilliantly and got the first goal of the game inside two minutes after kick off with a goal from Cheick Soumaro.
Both sides created a few chances in a well contested first half as the home team took a one goal lead to the break.
The Kumasi-based club warmed themselves into the game after the recess but failed to convert any of the chances they created.
Tidjae Diomande put the icing on the cherry three minutes to full time with a beautiful finish to secure a 2-0 win for San Pedro.
Kotoko won the first leg by a lone goal a week ago in Ghana at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium with a 92nd minutes penalty from Guinean-import Naby Keita.
San Pedro have advanced to the group stage with a 2-1 aggregate score after beating Kotoko 2-0 in today’s encounter.
