Schlupp named in Palace squad for pre-season

Ghanaian international Jeffrey Schlupp has been included in Crystal Palace squad for their pre-season after being declared fit.

Schlupp missed the later stages of last season’s campaign through injury and there were serious doubts concerning if he will be fully fit before pre-season starts.

The club medical team has been able to work on the Ghanaian for him to gain full fitness and has been included by manager Roy Hodgson in his 24-man squad for a pre-season tour in Switzerland.

Schlupp who played in various positions last season was one of the Eagles best players making 30 league appearances, scoring four goals and providing one assist.
