Ghanaian-born Dutch Myron Boadu is one goal shy of reaching double figures in the Eredivisie after his goal against FC Utrecht on Saturday evening.
The 18-year-old in-form attacker grabbed his ninth goal of this season’s Eredivisie when he scored his team’s third goal in their away win at Utrecht.
Alkmaar has been on the rise this season playing some wonderful football and took a 24th minute lead through a strike from Teun Koopmeiners.
Oussama Iddrisi was assisted by Boadu on the 31st minute to make it 2-0 for the away side before the break.
Boadu finished the job for Alkmaar five minutes after recess to put the game to bed to secure a 10th league win this season for the Red and Whites.
The game finished 3-0 in the away team’s favor.
