Former broadcast journalist Shamima Muslim has accused the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) of running down the economy, urging Ghanaians to vote them out in the upcoming 7 December polls.
Speaking at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) campaign launch in Tamale on Saturday (27 July), Muslim highlighted the struggles Ghanaians face in providing for their basic needs due to what she described as the deep mismanagement and recklessness of the NPP under the leadership of Nana Akufo-Addo, Vice President Bawumia, and Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh.
“Today our nation is in crisis, our nation is at a crossroads because of the deep mismanagement and recklessness of the NPP,” she stated.
Muslim called on fair-minded Ghanaians to vote for John Mahama, stressing that the NPP does not care about the people.
