Solomon Appiah Kubi, a pharmacist and owner of Solak Chemist, has donated a set of sports items to his alma mater Kumasi High School.

The items which includes 20 pair of football boots and other equipment were handed to the sports department of the school on Tuesday in an effort to help development of sports.

Aside being one of the best single sex second cycle schools in Ghana in terms of education, Kumasi High School has over the years been a giant in sports as the “Truth Conquerors” have produced the likes of Kwaku Dua, Isaac Owusu and Francis Akwaffo all of Kotoko fame and more recently youth internationals Ernest Ohemeng of Mirandes FC in Spain and Ghana Under-20 midfielder Mohammed Idrissu, who is with Portuguese outfit Moreirense.

The school authorities thanked Mr. Kubi for his nice gesture and urged others to also follow suit.
