Ghana midfielder Abdul Aziz Tetteh insists the 4-1 win over Genclerbirligi in the Turkish elite division on Monday is essential for them, as their name will be embedded in the club’s history.
Tetteh was superb in the Gaziantep midfield putting up a great performance as they attained their first victory in the Turkish topflight.
“For us, the win over Genclirbirligi was very important,” Tetteh told Dailymailgh.com
“We wanted our name to be in the history of the club because it was the first home game in the Super Lig.”
The Ghanaian international further mentioned that the fans have been great so far in the two games they have played and they are always behind them.
“Our fans have been very supportive, they have been there for us and it has been splendid.”
Tetteh joined Gaziantep from Russian outfit Dinamo Moscow where he had a fantastic 2018/2019 season.
He has previously played for Fokkikos, Platanias, as well as Lech Poznan in Poland.
