The general secretary of the Ghana Football Association, Prosper Harrison Addo is dreaming of winning the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast next year.

The GFA secretary believes the weather situation and everything in Ivory Coast suits Ghana which could give the Black Stars some urge.

He expressed his desire and hopes the Black Stars qualify first for the tournament which he hopes is eventually won by the senior national team team.

“The weather and everything [in Ivory Coast] suits us, so we’re hoping to qualify and go and win the cup,” the GFA General Secretary said in an interview with Asempa FM.

The trophy has eluded Ghana for more than forty years since winning it for the fourth and last time in 1982 in Libya.

Ghana recently played out a goalless stalemate against Madagascar with a catastrophic display which dismayed many Football enthusiasts in the country.

Following that poor performance against the Barea, Ghana must now get a result against Central African Republic in September in the last AFCON qualifier to secure a spot at the next total energies Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Ivory Coast.
