After the match against the Central African Republic, Jordan Ayew reflected on his commitment to the team, despite not playing in his preferred position. “I’ve been playing out of position for quite some time in the national team and also at the club level,” he explained. “But I have always done my duty, put my country first, and never complained because I always give my all.”

Ayew acknowledged the challenges he faces. “It’s difficult. It’s not something that I like to talk about but obviously my favorite position right from Academy, France, in the national team has always been as a number 9,” he said. Nevertheless, he recognizes the importance of his role within the team and his ability to adapt. “I have qualities that allow me to play in the pockets of spaces, and I don’t complain,” he added.

His remarks underscore his dedication and flexibility, demonstrating his readiness to support the team’s success in any capacity. Ayew’s willingness to adapt highlights his professional attitude and commitment to the national team.
