Trabzonspor join race for Ghana defender Amartey

Turkish Superlig giants Trabzonspor have joined the race to sign Ghanaian defender Daniel Amartey on loan from Leicester City.

The Ghanaian defender suffered a career-threatening injury last season and missed majority of the campaign before bouncing back.

However, Leicester are ready to consider offers for him to gain more play time for full fitness.

Club Brugge expressed interest in signing him last week and Dailymailgh.com understands that Trabzonspor who have already signed three players from English clubs this window want the Ghanaian to beef up their back line.

Talks between Trabzonspor and the Foxes are expected to start Thursday for a possible one year loan deal.
