Two Asante Kotoko fans are feared dead after being shot by a police officer at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
The Porcupines tasted their first defeat of the season at home to Berekum Chelsea on Sunday and fans were agitated after the loss.
Supporters of the Reds were unhappy with some decisions of center referee Charles Bulu and threw missiles onto the field to halt the game after a red card situation.
The angry supporters vowed to deal with the referee after the match and authorities were forced to beef up security at the stadium.
Fans of the Asante Kotoko stood in front of the entrance of the dressing room preventing the officials to be taken away by the Ghana Police Service peacefully.
Warning shots were fired by the security men and unfortunately two young men were gunned down.
Following the melee, two fans sustained serious injuries and unconfirmed reports have it that they are feared dead.
