Legon Cities FC have completed the signing of Jonah Attuquaye from Berekum Chelsea.
According to Dailymailgh.com sources, the speedster has penned a three-year deal with the Accra-based club.
Attuquaye was an integral part of Chelsea’s early successes in the suspended Ghana Premier League when he scored to propel them past Hearts of Oak in Accra and set up Kofi Owusu in Kumasi when they pipped Asante Kotoko 1-0 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The versatile attacker who plays from the left and right wing of attack has been snapped by the struggling side with the transfer fee around ¢60, 000.
Legon Cities are augmenting their squad before the league resumes with the aim of beating the drop to stay in the Ghana Premier League.
With Attuquaye’s experience, one would believe he can help uplift the Royals from the wrong end of the table come the end of the season.
