Julius Debrah, the newly appointed Chief of Staff, has urged Ghanaians to have confidence in President-elect John Dramani Mahama’s leadership and his commitment to fulfilling the promises made to the nation.

Addressing the inauguration of President-elect Mahama at the Black Star Square in Accra on January 7, 2025, Debrah assured citizens of the administration’s dedication to creating a positive impact on the country’s economy and the well-being of its people.

“Basically, I want to give everybody hope—it’s hope, hope, and the question is, is it possible? Yes, it’s possible when you have the right people who are determined to make things happen,” Debrah affirmed. His statement reflected the new administration’s determination to face challenges and deliver meaningful change.

Debrah also emphasized the importance of teamwork and effective leadership in achieving the government’s vision for economic growth, job creation, and improved standards of living.

“And knowing President-elect Mahama, for example, when we were in office, almost every week, each minister was supposed to report to him personally. He picks a chat with you and asks you questions as to where you were with an assignment given to you. I believe we are going to go the same way, we’re not going to change from that,” Debrah explained.

He expressed confidence in Mahama’s hands-on leadership style, which fosters accountability and ensures progress on critical national issues.
