Two more die of Covid-19 in Ghana as toll hits 303

Ghana’s coronavirus death toll is now 303 after two more succumbed to the deadly virus, health officials confirmed on Saturday.

The Ghana Health Service (GHS) in its regular updates reported that the national Covid-19 case tally now stands at 46,803 as against 46,006 recoveries and discharges.

This leaves the number of active cases at 494.

Ever since the international airport – Kotoka – was re-opened on September 1, 2020 the country has recorded 45 cases from international travelers. Two persons are currently on ventilators while six cases have been declared critical.
