Two thieves who allegedly stole 300 cows at Kete-Krachi have been arrested, the Ghana Police Service said.
Two more persons are being hunted in connection with the crime, the police said in a statement.
According to the police, the cattle thieves moved the livestock to a farm settlement near Kosorgbor in the Volta region.
“Thirty of the cows have also been so far retrieved. The suspects, Ibrahim Imoro and Amadu Imoro were arrested from their hide out,” the police confirmed.
It added: “Their arrest was made possible due to information given by a patriotic Ghanaian.”
The police is also calling on the public to keep volunteering information to arrest criminals.
