UEFA Europa League: In-form Ghanaian attacker Ibrahim Sadiq scores as Hacken beat Zalgiris

Ghana’s Black Stars forward Ibrahim Sadiq was on the score sheet for Swedes champions BK Hacken in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers on Thursday evening away at Zalgiris Vilnius.

 

The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward lasted 73 minutes on the field of play for the Swedes Champions in their first leg clash of the qualifiers of the 2023-24 UEFA Europa League on Thursday evening after exciting the champions league on penalties.

Srdjan Hrstic broke the deadlock of the match to put the Yellow and Blacks outfit in the lead lead before the end of the opening 45 minutes of the match.

Two minutes into the second half of the match, Sadiq found the back of the net for his team as they took a healthy 2-0 lead early in the second 45 minutes of the match.

The home team got a late consolation to make it a bit respectable as it ended 3-1 to the visitors.

 

Mikkel Rygaard on the 70th minute mark of the clash found the back of the net to make it 3-0 to BK Hacken with 20 minutes to go.
