Ex-West Ham United FC star midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker insists Ghana star midfielder Mohammed Kudus can be as important for the Hammers as Jeremy Doku has been for Manchester City this season.
The West Ham United FC legend wants manager David Moyes to use Ghana’s star on the wings in the English Premier League as he believes could cause more trouble to defenders in the league.
Kudus has been in fine form for the London club since joining them in the summer transfer window, scoring an outstanding goal as West Ham dumped Arsenal out of the Carabao Cup.
The 23-year-old also netted a brace in the UEFA Europa League game against Serbian side, TSC Backa Topola before scoring his first Premier League goal against Newcastle United.
“When you say attacking selection [against Everton], for me why is he playing Kudus in the middle instead of out wide?’ Coker told the BBC.
“I think Kudus can have the same impact as Doku does for Manchester City. Paqueta should be your middle man, he’s the guy that can orchestrate everything.
“I think playing Kudus in the middle is something for me you can kind of question. He needs to be out wide, high, one-on-one against defenders and then producing his magic up there.”
The 23-year-old has made a scintillating start to his tenure in England, notably scoring a crucial goal as West Ham ousted Arsenal from the Carabao Cup. Additionally, he delivered a stunning strike in the team’s recent loss to Brentford.
