Video: Afriyie Acquah’s late assist propels Malatyaspor’s away win at Besiktas

Ghanaian midfield anchor Afriyie Acquah provided a vital assist in Yeni Malatyaspor’s 2-0 win at Besiktas on Sunday.

The 27-year-old Ghanaian came from the bench nine minutes to full time and deliciously provided an eye-catching long pass assist to fellow substitute Thievy Bifouma in the 85th minute who expectedly finished off to make it 1-0 to the visitors.

Acquah’s assist is his third of the season for his new team since joining this summer from Italian outfit Empoli.

Malatyaspor was awarded a 90th minutes penalty which was converted by Adis Jahovic to make it 2-0.

Besiktas have suffered their first home defeat in today’s encounter with 7th placed Malatyaspor.
