Black Stars marksman Jordan Ayew’s brilliant finish secures a win over Watford for Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The 29-year-old Ghanaian talismanic forward scored the only goal of the afternoon’s encounter at Selhurst Park.
The home team took the lead in the first half of the match when midfielder James McArthur beautifully set up Ayew in the 28th minutes to finish superbly just outside the penalty box to make it 1-0 to the host.
Ayew’s magical finish wowed the home fans and sent them into ecstasy before the half hour mark.
Though Watford raised the bar in the second department of the match, Roy Hodgson’s men stood firm to end Watford’s partying mood after they became the first team to beat Liverpool last weekend.
The Ghanaian forward has eight Premiership goals and one assist to his name this term for the Eagles.
Palace won the game by a lone goal and have moved to the top half of the table in the English Premiership.
