Former Black Stars midfielder Kevin Prince-Boateng scored for Besiktas on Saturday evening.
The ex-Barcelona player netted the equalizer on the 57th minute for the home team after going behind in the first half just five minutes into the match to Alaxander Sorloth’s strike.
Boateng’s instinctive strike is his second for the Turkish giants since joining from Italian side Fiorentina.
Croatian defender Domagoj Vida put the host in front on the 64th minutes mark making it 2-1 for the home team with still 24 minutes left to play.
Another Ghanaian international Caleb Ekuban came off the bench to set up Sorloth for his second goal in the match to draw the visitors level on the stroke of full time.
The game ended 2-2 and Trabzonspor remain top of the league on goal difference and level on points with Sivasspor and a game in hand.
