Young Ghanaian striker Malik Abubakari bagged his 2nd league goal of the season for Swedes giant Malmö FF at home against Degerfos IF on Saturday afternoon in the Allsvenskan league.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian attacker played full throttle for the Sky Blue and Whites outfit in their emphatic and comprehensive 3-0 victory in the Allsvenskan.
He was given his first start of the season in the league since joining this summer Portugal Primeira Liga side Moreirense on a three-year deal.
Two minutes away from the half time whistle, Veljko Birmančević scored the opening goal to make it 1-0 to the home team going into the break.
Eight minutes after the hour mark, Abubakari’s right-footed shot from the center of the box went straight into the bottom right corner following a beautiful assist from Anders Christiansen with 22 minutes left on the clock to play.
Christiansen made it 3-0 and the points save for Malmö when he scored with a brilliant strike after 87 minutes to make the final score 3-0 to the hosts.
The Ghanaian striker is finding his feet in Sweden and has two goals in five matches in the Sweden Allsvenskan to his name.
