Video: Ghana’s Caleb Ekuban scores fourth league goal to send Trabzonspor top

Ghanaian forward Caleb Ekuban was on the score sheet for Trabzonspor against Goztepe on Friday night.

The Ghana international scored from the 12 – yards after the away team was awarded a penalty on 52nd minutes.

The league leaders were in front 16 minutes into the action when Anthony Nwakaeme found the back of the net to make it 1 – 0 before the interval.

Ekuban made it 2-0 to the visitors seven minutes after recess when he converted a spot kick inside 52 minutes.

Five minutes later, the host were also awarded a penalty and center back Alpaslan Orturk made no mistake in slotting home to make 1-2 before the hour make.

Berken Emir’s 84th minutes own-goal ensured a deserving 3-1 win on the road for Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Lig.

Ekuban despite injuries has managed four goals with three assists for his team this term.
