Ghanaian-born German Daniel Kyere scored in SV Wehen Wiesbaden’s 2-3 home defeat to Dynamo Dresden in German Bundesliga II.

The Ghana international netted his sixth league goal this season for his side as they suffered a loss to Dynamo Dresden at home on Saturday.

The visitors profited from an own goal scored by the home team’s midfielder Dominik Franke on the eight minutes mark to make it 1 – 0.

Kyere, 24, equalized for the host in the 24th minute of the match when his team-mate Manuel Schaffler picked the pocket of a Dresden defender to set him up to level.

Sixty seconds later, Moritz Kuhn made it 2 – 1 to the home team when he reacted the quickest to a loose ball in the penalty box of the away team.

When it looked like Wehen were heading into the break with the advantage on their side, Patrick Schmidt had other ideas as he rose in the box of the host to beautifully connect with Chris Lowe’s inch perfect cross to make it 2-2 at the stroke of half time.

The second half provided a lot of talking points as both teams missed chances to go in front.

Just when it looked like it was all over and both teams were going to settle for a draw, Makienok scored to make it 3-2 to the delight of the visiting team.

The Ghanaian international has three assists to add to his six goals for the relegation threatened side Wehen.
