Ghanaian-born English Jeremy Frimpong was on the score sheet for Celtic in their home win over Hibernian on Sunday.
The 19-year-old Ghanaian attacking midfielder broke the deadlock for the Scottish Champions inside 39 minutes when he was put through on goal by Odsonne Édouard and slotted the ball with a one-touch nutmeg finish to make it 1-0.
The Manchester City academy graduate netted his first league goal for his club since scoring in Celtic’s 4-0 away win at Aberdeen on 27th October 2019.
The home team made the scoreline safe in the second half with a goal from Odsonne Édouard in the 66th minute to make it 2-0.
The game ended 2-0 and Celtic maintain their two points lead over rivals Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premier League.
