Scores of Lagos-bound passengers on Friday night protested the delay of their flight by Air Peace at Kotoka International Airport in Ghana.

The passengers lamented that their flight had been postponed three times by the airline.The delay has lasted more than six hours, some passengers told The PUNCH.

A reverend sister, Martha Attakruh, said that her flight was for 3:20 pm but as of 8.55 pm she was still awaiting the flight.

She said, “ My flight was for 3:20pm but they later changed it to 5 pm. When it was 5 pm they announced that the flight had been delayed to 8 pm. At 8 pm we were told to wait for another hour. It is getting late.”

Another lady identified as Doyin Adetula said that her flight was meant to be at 3.20 pm but it has been postponed three times.

“ They have delayed us for over five hours and all they could do was to offer us meat pie, a bottled of water and a bottle of coke,” she said.

Another lady who spoke on condition of anonymity said that the delay has caused her high blood pressure.

“This delay has caused serious issues on my health. The incessant delay has caused me high blood pressure,” she simply said.

However, when queried workers of the airline had no information to share with the aggrieved customers.
