Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Sadiq scored a brace for for Swedes champions BK Hacken in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers on Thursday evening at home to Zalgiris Vilnius.
He bagged brace and also provided an assist in his team’s 5-0 win to make it the last stage of the qualifiers into the group stages of the 2023-24 campaign.
Srdjan Hrstic opened the scoring in the first half to give the Yellow and Blacks outfit the lead at half time with a fine finish.
Eleven minutes into the second half of the match, Sadiq set up Samuel Gustafson to score the second for the home team to make 2-0.
The Ghanaian forward scored his first goal of the match to put the hosts 3-0 up after 63 minutes with a very intelligent strike for the home team.
Ten minutes later, he converted a spot kick to make it four before Momodou Sonko added the icing on the cake goal to make it 5-0 at full time.
