Ghana forward Inaki Williams finally broke his goal duck on Tuesday evening at home for Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish Copa del Rey semi-final second leg.
He scored the only goal in the tie for his team as they succumbed to C. A Osasuna in the cup competition semi-final due to the first leg defeat on the road.
Iñaki Williams has just scored his first goal since October 2022. The Ghanaian went on a barren run of 23 games without a goal.
He found the back of the net for his team in the first half of the match with a close but instinctive finish inside the box into the top roof of the center of the goal with a left-footed finish.
Unfortunately, his team couldn’t make it to the final as the visitors scored late in the game to level matters on the day and progressed after winning 1-0 in the first leg.
