Ghana’s Black Stars forward Inaki Williams got his name on the score sheet for Athletic Bilbao FC in the Spanish top-flight on Saturday with an instinctive strike.

 

He scored the third goal for the home team who won 3-0 over Cadiz to go second on the league table after five games with ten points.

 

The 28-year-old Ghanaian international played full throttle for his team after featuring for Ghana against the Central African Republic in the final game of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

After a goalless first 45 minutes of the match, Gorka Guruzeta broke the deadlock of the match to put the hosts 1-0 up on the six minutes after the hour mark.

 

Asier Villalibre got the second goal for the home team to make it 2-0 two minutes after the opening goal of the match.

 

On the 90th minute mark of the match, Inaki got his name on the score sheet to add the icing on the cake goal to make it 3-0 at full time.

 

The Ghanaian forward has two goals and one assist in four games this season.
