WAFA youngster John Tedeku signs for Asante Kotoko

Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC have confirmed the signing of West African Football Academy (WAFA) SC graduate John Tedeku for the upcoming 2022-23 season.

The young left-back has left the Division One League Zone Two side after they suffered relegation from the Ghana top-flight league last summer to join the 2021-22 Ghana Premier League winners.

He has successfully passed his mandatory medical test and has signed a two year contract with the option for a further year.

Kotoko lost their left-back to Sudanese giant Al Hilal Omdurman this summer and the youngster is expected to become his replacement.
